Do I need sport fishing experience?
No, many of our customers have never been sport fishing before. The REEL WORK Sport fishing team has years of experience and are ready to teach you everything you need to know to have a great day of fishing.

How many people are allowed?
US Coast Guard regulations require that we can only carry a maximum of 6 passengers on board, no matter what age.

Is there an age limit?
We do not have an age limit for our passengers.

What can I do with the fish we catch?
Depending on the season, there are different species of fish that are here in the waters off of Ft. Lauderdale and South Florida. Fresh fish is enjoyed by many people, including our crew. If you would like to take any of it home with you, the REEL WORK crew will be happy to clean it for you, otherwise it will not go to waste. If you are lucky enough to catch a trophy quality fish, we can arrange to have it mounted and shipped to you; we have an excellent marine taxidermist that we work with that has many years of experience.

What time should we arrive?
You should plan on arriving at the boat about half an hour before your charter. Allow extra time in season and holiday weekends as traffic can be busy.

What is a standard tip for the Captain and mate?
Gratuities are very much appreciated by the crew as they work primarily for tips and our crew split their tips evenly. Most of our charters tip at least 20% of the charter price.
